Innovation made possible for charities of all sizes.
In 2002 our founder Neil Garner began designing a way for charities to thrive in a ‘less-cash’ society.
Using his knowledge and experience in proximity marketing and payments he designed a platform that charities could use without specialist tech skills.
He launched Thyngs to deliver this solution to charities and expand proximity mobile services into other industries such as hospitality and retail.
In 2020 that platform became a lifeline for charities. With traditional fundraising channels cut-off, charities turned to cashless solutions. Good Thyngs launched with a dedicated team helping charities like Macmillan, Dorothy House, and Poppyscotland fundraise in innovative new ways.
