A creative contactless donations platform for all charities
We harmonise digital experiences with physical fundraising to connect people to charitable causes. Platform data drives success and enhanced real-world interactions help create life-long supporters.

Innovation made possible for charities of all sizes
In 2002 our founder Neil Garner began designing a way for charities to thrive in a ‘less-cash’ society. Using his knowledge and experience in proximity marketing and payments he designed a platform that charities could use without specialist tech skills. He launched Thyngs to deliver this solution to charities and expand proximity mobile services into other industries such as hospitality and retail.
In 2020 that platform became a lifeline for charities. With traditional fundraising channels cut-off, charities turned to cashless solutions. Good Thyngs launched with a dedicated team helping charities like Macmillan, Dorothy House, and Poppyscotland fundraise in innovative new ways.

How ordinary things become contactless charity boxes
We embed smartphone technology like QR and NFC into physical objects like mascots, medals, leaflets, wristbands, and more. This transforms objects into instant contactless charity boxes or digital touch points.
Fundraising managers and marketers in small to large charities use Good Thyngs to create, manage and measure all of their digital experiences.
You don’t need any bespoke technology or digital skills because we’ve removed the technological barriers for you.

Decades of experience & a team you can trust
We work with a large network of payments providers, charity professionals, marketing experts, and technology providers around the world to deliver an exceptional end-to-end service.
